Lets face it! Maerklin has for the first time realised that it needs to produce totally new molds/models also in Europe for not state owned companies like BLS. That is progress! Now when HAG has failed to produce anything new, we as swiss and BLS lovers have to be happy! Thanks for the information on the fait of the WR:s on Swiss Express. I have four to five BREDA locs from Roxy, mtr, ROCO and a.c.m.e, all digialised and 3-currency feeding. They look so powerfull. I asked to hope that they can make Ae 5/7 or Be 5/7. Alltogether that is 17 numbers and most both in brown and green. They just have to visit Verkershaus to take pictures and measurements. Furethermore Maerklin are the best to produce reliably funktioning "stangenloks". MFG

As BLS and Maerklin fan am I happy as ever! Finally a modern Ae 6/8 in metal. When I saw the Swiss Express and the N scale model in bls nina colors, it made me even more happy. However, I have a few questions: What happend to the resturant car when bls took over? Will Maerklin as usual forget to produce "steuerwagons" suitable? A Swiss perspective iis probably better than my Swedish. Finally, with the supply by Hornby/Rivarossi and HAG of Ae oand Re 4/4:s and Rivarossis Ce 4/6 and Ce 4/4 we only need a modern model of Be 5/7 for line locomotives!

Stefan!

MFG GT :
