• Hi to all,
I need to know if is always like some loco that I have digitalized in the past, with the motor body insulated from the ground connection.....

In a HAG loco the "ground" is on the body and the black cable to the decoder is connected there. And the body of the motor itself is metallic too ... and they have contact. But the body of the motor is not important.

Really important ... the two contacts at the motor are strictly isolated (where the orange and grey wires from the decoder are going to) from the rest of the locos body and motor. Was your loco originally DC ? Then don't forget to remove the washer !! See here under "Attenzione DIGITAL"

    Hope that helps

    Gruss
    Peter
