Seems that the old Swiss flügelrad logo (with wings and wheel) reminds very much about the old Danish logo, but the Danish wheel had a crown on the top to represent that Denmark is a kingdom. DSB (Danish States Railways) have changed logo too a couple of times as seen here, in Danish, sorry: https://www.udogse.dk/logo-foerer/.
Thanks and regards,

Hi Mike,
What does it mean "Pleitegeier"?
Br Jesper L.
Mike Cee
Pleitegeier is the descriptive name given to the logo of the SBB <+>
It originally referred to a vulture circling a business which was on the brink of bankruptcy.
Some say that the origin was the Yiddish term for somebody who went bankrupt (Plejte gejer) (Pleite Geher)
I don't know where the term because associated with the SBB Logo.
